Plot: A 15 year old boy named Christopher (Noah Schnapp) is looking boredly to the tv screen, in the back ground we can heard a loud noise of other boy crying. Felix (Roman Griffin Davis), is the boy's name, he calls his brother's name again-again cause he just cut himself when playing with some katana in the dojo.
Christopher, annoyed, look back, "What!?" he asked, Felix's is afraid to see his brother angry so he shut his mouth and run away to see his dad, Arthur Wayne (Mark Rylance). Felix tells Arthur what Christopher did to him, so Arthur gets angry and punished him with a whip of a belt to the back while telling him that brother should look after one another and that he is dissapointed to him as the elder brother.
After the punish man finished, Felix is tasked to give some herbal stuff to his brother's back. Christopher's face full of dry tear path because of the punishment, Felix starts apologizing about what he did, he didn't know their father would do that. It angers Christopher more and punch his 13 years old brother on the face and run away from home that night.
He has no place to go, the town is quite, he walks alone in the park, he swing alone on the swings but was stopped when a silhouette aprroach him, he come down the swing and ready his fighting stand, "Who is that!?", when the figure close enough, it reveals he is a policeman with a name tag on his chest written "Thomas Fisher" (Josh Lucas). "What are you doing here at night alone? Are you lost?" he said, Chris said "No" uninterestedly. "Are you running from home?", Chris' eyes widen a bit and back to normal, Thomas sits on the swing besides Chris.
"You know, when i was your age, i also ran from home" He started, he talks about his experience when running, Chris is interested and tell him to tell him more, after an hour of story, the story ends. Thomas offered him to bring him home but Chris refused and starts walking away, Thomas stopped him and offered his house instead. Chris happily accept it. Thomas bring him to his house and is welcomed by a girl around Christopher's age, named Scarlet
The next morning, Arthur and Felix is in the dojo, training the very rare ninja-like martial art named "Shadow Fist", Felix and Arthur have a short sparring and end the training. After the training, Felix comes to his dad to talk about his brother but Arthur refuse to talk about it, saying "He'll be back, even birds missed their home" and then walk away.
That evening is quite, nothing happends around the house, Felix sits on his bed, thinking what their mother would say.
He had a flashback when he was 4 and his brother is 6, they had a fight, Felix even try to reach a knife in their dojo but their mother come and calms the situation, she is a smooth talker and very sweet, the conflict ended with hugs between the brother.
Now that their mother is gone, this conflict would end badly.
It has been 4 days, Christopher do nothing but Follow Thomas to his station, observing what a police do in everyday basis, Christopher got inspired to be a police because of it. He has a crush on Thomas daughter, but Scarlet doesn't show the same thing but she still being nice to him.
In the 5th day, Thomas have a really serious talk with Christopher about him going home, cause he can't stay with them, it might cause a kidnap sue from his Parents. Christopher smiles, and tell him that his head is cooled after these 5 days, and thinking about going home, it worked well with Thomas.
On the morning of the 6th day, Christopher go home, Thomas offered to accompany him but Christopher stricly refuse, beside he told Thomas that his house is near. After that he starts walking home.
The path to his house is quite far, it's inside a the forest near the town, it was inherited by his father from his father's martial art master, so he had a job to teach him and felix about it.
When he arrive, he can see the house is damaged, he rush inside and see Felix being captured by some people wearing black, near them, his father also fights with some more nameless villain, he run to the 2 that capture Felix and beat them, Felix got freed, Arthur.told them to run, but felix refused, Christopher tried to get Felix going but he insisted to stay.
Look for the free target, the nameless people in black throw some throwing stars, And Arthur jump infront of it, Felix's eyes widen as his father dropped to the floor. Seeing their task complete, the people in black dissapear in smoke, Christopher is furious but cant get it out. They gather around their father.
Blood pouring out his mouth while giving them his last word that is for Christopher to continue the Martial Art, Christopher quitely agree, cause deep down, he don't want to.
After a couple of days, a funeral is held, Christopher reported the death of his father to Thomas so he can investigate the culprit. At the funeral, Chris meet some weird people that he believe are his dad's friend and makes him wonder how they know the incident.
After a couple weeks, after the legal things are finished, Christopher get ready to go away from the house, Felix is trying to stop him cause he must continue the legacy of their father, he refuse and tell felix to do it himself and go away.
Their father left them more than enough fortune to them at least until they are 25, with Christopher out of the picture, all of them fortune are held by Felix.
In his anger, Felix swear to kill Christopher.
Years pass, Felix can finally get revenge, with the mask of Yue Fei, he can kill Christopher in Heaven's Dragon HQ
"Isn't it a too cheesy reason to have a revenge on me and kill me? We are not movie characters man. Stop it" says Christopher (Jamie Dornan) after found out that his brother Felix worked with the Heaven Dragon
"You don't know me, you don't know what i've been through" Felix (Max Irons) replied and back to attacking Christopher and they have some intense Martial Arts fight.
