Plot: Ozzi (Zoe Kravitz) wakes up in the morning to a buzzing phone. She shuts it off and tries to return to sleep.

At the precinct, Officer Mandrake (Mark O’Brien) meets with Chief Phegley (Don Swayze). After small talks, Phegley asks if Mandrake has wrapped up the Sian Stone investigation. Mandrake says there are a few people he’s been meaning to talk to, including someone Stone may have been having an affair with. After a beat, Phegley says that shouldn’t be necessary the case is pretty cut-and-dry, no? Mandrake begins to respond but Phegley cuts him off and repeats the same line but in the form of a statement.

In the evening, Digger (Boyd Holbrook) picks up Ozzi and then they pick up Ellen (Aimee Lou Wood) as they plan to confront Cyrus at Ponce de León. On the drive, Ellen reveals a bit more about the club. In the club’s basement is where the porn operation is run and being a waitress at the club is often a pipeline to being an actress in the films. Well, until there is a situation like Ellen’s. But somewhere in the basement they have the tape that Sian prove her unjust firing.

As Ozzi, Digger, and Ellen arrive at the club, Ozzi gets another call from Luis. After she doesn’t answer, he sends a text that says “we need to talk.” She apologizes to Digger and Ellen but says that she needs to go. Digger and Ellen enter the club with other guests and try to blend in. A fellow waitress, Shailene (Emma Dumont), recognizes Ellen and is surprised to see her after assuming she was fired. Ellen says she was indeed fired but she came back because she forgot something downstairs. She asks if Shailene can let them down there. Shailene confirms before asking about Digger, who Ellen says is a friend. As Shailene unlocks the door to the basement, she asks if Cyrus knows they’re here. Ellen lies and says yes.

Digger is immediately repulsed by the smell of the basement. A special collection of clubgoers, mostly older men, line red leather booths with Playback devices on, pleasuring themselves. That is not too out of the ordinary for Digger but the backroom is, which is where the sets are located for the porn shoots. One is actually shooting at the moment, which echoes throughout the halls. He remarks that he is surprised that patrons can be down here as wouldn’t it put the girls at risk. She says they can fend for themselves but also says that club security have special infrared guns that act as a super-charged taser. She’s seen multiple unruly guests carried out unconscious after encountering them.

As she rummages through a collection of Playback tapes, she comes across the one she knows is the correct one. The one that she aims to destroy. Digger is surprised to hear this as he thought she wanted to use it as proof of her unjust firing. She says she has no trust in the justice system to side with her so she at least wants to have control over one of her darkest moments. She finds the tape but, just as she does, she hears a man say “hey sweet thing”. She turns around to find Cyrus (Steve Aoki), a regular at the club. He says he didn’t expect to see her around here any time soon. She tries to laugh off his comment but he asks if that is their tape in his hands. He tells her to put it back as it is bound to be one of their best sellers. Digger connects the dots and clinches his fist as his instincts kick in. That is when he notices that Digger with her and recognizes him from a few days ago. He makes a call to his security detail but Digger uses that moment to punch Cyrus and dart towards the stairs.

Digger, with Ellen one step behind him, begins to make his way through the drugged-out cavalcade of clubgoers. He uses their bodies as human shields as Cyrus’s men shoot their infrared stun guns at Digger. Ellen looks ahead and lets Digger know that they have blocked off the exit doors. They make a detour and hide behind the bar before the bartender asks what they are doing there. Digger uppercuts him in the jaw and takes a swig from a bottle of bourbon before smashing it over the bartender’s head. Electronic music pulsates as Digger takes in their surroundings. Ellen points over to a fire alarm and, before Digger can even say anything, she rushes over to pull it.

The sprinkler system sets in as the crowd begins to scatter in a panic. As the clubgoers flood outside, Digger and Ellen dart across the dance floor. The blue lightshow mixed with the water from the sprinklers causes confusion for Cyrus’s men but they spot Digger and their red beams cut across the lights and water. As they near the exit, Digger is hit by one of their shots and falls to the ground. He begins convulsing, causing him to drop the tape. As the goons approach, Ellen makes the decision to pull Digger out with her and leave the tape behind. They make it to his car and she places him in the passenger seat. She doesn’t know how to drive but she gets behind the wheel anyways. As he is trying to regain his bearings, he is able to slur out a few words instructing her how to drive. Once they get in the clear, Digger sees Ellen in tears and murmurs “sorry”. Ellen takes his hand and says it’s OK. Digger loses consciousness.
