Natural Selection: Ty Burrell (Flicker, "Modern Family"), Anna Camp (Burnt Dreams, Jerry & Marge Go Large) and Kristin Chenoweth (Holidate, The Boy Next Door) have signed on to round out the cast of Paul Verhoeven's Hollywood studio film return, Natural Selection, starring Angelina Jolie, Jared Leto and Warren Beatty. Burrell will play Beatty's doctor, Chenoweth will play Beatty's secretary, and Camp will play the fiance of Leto's character. The erotic thriller was written by Roy Horne and Chad Taylor.
Midnight Tales: The ensemble cast of the anthology horror film, Midnight Tales, has finally been completed with the additions of Molly Gordon (Tail, "Winning Time"), Maddie Ziegler (To the Moon, Crush), Madison Wolfe (Malignant, I Kill Giants) and Emily Alyn Lind (The Youngest Hart, Doctor Sleep). John Carpenter, David Bruckner, Fede Alvarez and Adam Wingard direct the various segments, which were written by Ben Collins, Andrew Doster and Jack Slipter.
Luke Cage: Power Man: Chris Tucker (Silver Linings Playbook, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk), Fred Williamson (VFW, "Being Mary Jane") and Sharon Leal (Addicted, Amateur) have joined Luke Cage: Power Man. Tucker will play Cage's best friend who sets him up to take the fall for drug charges. Williamson will play Luke Cage's father. Leal, meanwhile, will play the wife of Chris Tucker's character. George Tillman Jr. directs the Marvel Universe production from a script by Jimmy Ellis and Dwight Gallo.
Citizen: Jessica Brown Findlay (Lock Every Door, Munich: The Edge of War), Thomas Haden Church (A Lost Sense of Heaven, Black Lightning), Michael Pitt (Grayson, Lowell) and Colin Ford (Maximum Ride, The Birds) have all signed on to the Timothee Chalamet-led Citizen from director Danny Boyle and writer Rachel Hallett Hardcastle. Findlay will play Chalamet's love interest, Ford will play the son of Kurt Russell's character, while Church and Pitt will play criminals.
Khumba the Flying Zebra: Gael Garcia Bernal (The King of Hearts, Old), Vanessa Hudgens (Bad Dreams Come True, Time Passages), Dusan Brown (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, 42), wrestler Joe "Roman Reigns" Anoa'i (Hobbs & Shaw) and John De Lancie (The Youngest Hart, AGOS: A Game of Survival) will all lend their voices to Khumba the Flying Zebra. Bernal will voice a hornbill, Hudgens will voice Khumba's zebra wife, Brown will voice their son, Anoa'i will voice a falcon, and De Lancie will narrate the film. Peter Ramsey directs from a script by Jacob Jones.
The Flash #2: A sequel to The Flash is finally on the way with Dave Franco (The Flash, Zombielove), Lily James (Worried Mind, Mask of the Phantom) and Dennis Quaid (The Flash, Bastion) all set to reprise their roles from the first film as Barry Allen/The Flash, his love interest Iris West, and police captain Frye, respectively. Chad Taylor (Booster Gold: Back in Time, Broadway) takes over the writing duties from Giovanni Garcia with Jonathan Levine (American Dragon, The Flash) returning as director.
