Anna (Mykal-Michelle Harris) sits on the tree stump, carrying her pet kitten Whiskers when Matthew (Roger Dale Floyd) and Marcie (Miriam Spumpkin) stop by. Today is Show and Tell, and everyone is excited to showcase their favorite things. Of course, Marcie already knows what her favorite thing is...Barney! (Dean Wendt) Once he comes to life, he accidentally scares Whiskers over to Matthew. Matthew and Anna calm Whiskers, saying that Barney is a friend to all. Barney gently lifts Whiskers, saying hello to them. The bell soon rings and everyone makes their way inside the school, except for Barney, who still abides by the rule of not letting Mr. Roberts (Robert Sweatson) see him. At this point, however, B.J (Patty Wirtz) and Baby Bop (Julie Johnson) are curious on who Mr. Roberts is and want to see for themselves. Meanwhile, inside Mr. Roberts's class, the show and tell goes as planned as each kid shows their favorite thing. For Marcie, it's her rocket ship, Matthew has his baseball, Gabi (Alejandra Howard) and Pablo (Ravi Cabot-Conyers) have each other as their favorite thing and D.J. (Brayden Newman) has a silly hat to share, but when it comes time for Anna to showcase her pet Whiskers, she finds that they've gone missing. The kids and Mr. Roberts search everywhere, but in the end, it's Barney who finds Whiskers and brings them inside, only to realize he forgot to make himself invisible. Mr. Roberts looks on at the purple dinosaur in shock before Anna introduces him to their greatest friend, Barney. Astounded, Mr. Roberts and Barney shake hands, Barney especially happy in finally getting to meet Mr. Roberts. Baby Bop showcases her blankie with the help of BJ and Anna and the gang get together to sing Whiskers off to sleep.

"So first thing, Barney is back, kids. Second, he has a mediocre comeback at best. The series never really seems able to build up to anything special or maintain any momentum from episode to episode." - Jessie Wicke, Voxxx
"The involvement in the series of Barney the character still felt weird as the season wore on. The plots of the series also didn't really seem to take advantage of the animation format. This easily could have been live-action (even though the lifeless dinosaur suits would be creepy these days)." - Cal Crowe, Washington Globe
"I appreciated the show's episodic nature. I did confuse the kid characters with each other a lot as there were simply too many of them and they didn't feel distinct enough from each other. Some episodes worked pretty well for me though as I appreciated how the series its stories to delve into the issues, but unfortunately I don't think the show is likely to attract the right kind of audience in the more adult-oriented LRF NOW format." - Jeff Stockton, The Roundup
