Plot: The desert wasteland covers acres of the area, Flynn (Mads Mikkelsen) travels with his rifle and gear. Finding a skeleton, he breaks down the bones and stores them in a canister. Flynn, taking his rifle, scopes out the area, finding nothing but rabid half-dead birds. He kills each one before moving further. Right as he walks past a massive boulder, he hears footsteps in the sand, turning the corner he’s cornered and surrounded by wanderers. He raises his hands calmly surrendering, one of them demands his bag, and he obliges and gives up his bag.

Flynn notices they’re desperate for food and gear, he looks to the corner of his eye and sees a girl (Storm Reid) holding a knife to his neck. The leader asks for his weapons, and Flynn gives no response, he moves closer and threatens him. Flynn looks at him with a cold stare, not answering. Right as the leader swings with a punch, something from the ground lunges up and kills the leader. Everyone scatters except Flynn, who slowly grabs his stuff and stands straight.

The creature, only known as the Leech mauls through half of them. The girl from before runs and hides behind a boulder, she holds in her breath as the sounds of her group grow louder. Flynn manages to join her, he covers her mouth as the Leech roams around them, the creature can’t see when you’re still. The leech roars before burying its way into the sand, after a few cold seconds, the two can move again. Flynn gives the girl a dead look before giving her water, he starts walking back to his ship, and the girl looks around at the others’ corpses. She runs towards him yelling for him to wait, Flynn not responding, has no other choice but to leave in his boat. Charlie clumsily tumbles down a sandhill, she gets right back up and calls him out. Flynn looks forward and tries his best to ignore the girl.
