Plot: Flynn (Mads Mikkelsen) takes the boat back to his shelter, after thinking for a few minutes, he realizes it’s not safe around the area he’s in. Flynn packs his bags, weapons, and gear, ultimately leaving a majority of his stuff behind. Flynn takes a case and opens it, after putting ammunition into his backpack he finds an old photo of him. He takes a deep breath before putting it in his pocket. After looking around his shelter, he gives it one final look before grabbing a notepad and exiting. Right as he does, Charlie (Storm Reid) corners him holding a knife.
Flynn raises his hands once more as Charlie demands his gear, without thought, he disarms her and holds his rifle close to her throat. Charlie nervously apologizes right away, he moves his rifle closer, leaving Charlie to take a few steps back. After giving it a second thought, Flynn pulls it back and nods for her to follow him. He moves to pass her and into the back of his shelter, and Charlie unknowingly follows him.
Flynn pulls off a sheet and reveals a custom motorcycle he built, that happens to have a sidebar attached to it. He takes his notebook and gives it to her, Charlie reads his plan to head to another shelter, where he stored a radio station many years ago. Charlie nods and gives it back, Flynn stores his rifle in the back and revs up the bike. He looks at Charlie, waiting for her, after looking around she straps in and holds on as Flynn rides off. He has enough gas for maybe three or four hours of traveling, Flynn looks as Charlie finds a helmet for herself. Without question, Flynn rides off with Charlie by his side.
