Akin: Jenny Gago (Mexican Gothic, "StartUp"), Jean Reno (Decrescendo, Germinal) and the legendary Alain Delon (Asterix at the Olympic Games, Day and Night) will round out the cast of Akin. The novel adaptation hails from rookie writer Abbie Q and director Joanna Hogg. The film tells the story of a character played by Michael Douglas going to the French Riviera to learn more about his family.

Monaco: The blockbuster Formula One racing drama from Martin Scorsese and writer Chad Taylor has completed its star-studded ensemble cast with the additions of Dev Patel (Recursion, Odette), Louis Garrel (Our Men, Little Women), Shah Rukh Khan (The Zoya Factor, Zero) and Sophia Loren (The Life Ahead, Nine).

Daredevil: Matthew Rhys ("The Americans", The Post) and Nathan Jones (Spiderhead, Mad Max: Fury Road) have joined the latest Marvel Universe production, Daredevil. Sam Heughan plays the title character, reprising his role from Elektra. Rhys will play the villainous Leland Owlsley with Jones as his henchman Ammo. Ron Perlman (Spider-Man, Kite) is also set to appear in the film, once again playing J. Jonah Jameson. Justin Kurzel directs from a script by Jimmy Ellis.

Once Upon a Time in Greenwich Village: Chad Taylor isn't the only LRF writer directing a film this season as Alex Conn (Tough Girl, Drugstore Perfume) is set to make his 5th directorial effort. Conn regular Alex Wolff (The Culture, Thrill of the Kill) is set to star alongside  Olivia Cooke (Gambit: District X, Maximum Ride) in the project about a college student in New York City and the people he meets there.

Dandelion: George MacKay (Mexican Gothic, Antarctica) and Jodie Comer (House Without End, Floyd Monroe) are set to headline the latest film from director Steven Soderbergh (Watch Hill, Doctor Love). MacKay will play a young man hired as a security guard at a storage unti facility who finds himself in a supernatural mystery. Comer will play a young woman who catches his eye at the facility. The film was written by Ben Collins (Maledicta, The Betrothed).

Red Sonja: Blood + Bone: Karen Gillan (Red Sonja, Pirate Latitudes) is officially set to the return to the role of Red Sonja in a sequel to the surprise Season 14 hit film.  Michael Wincott (Nope, Hitchcock) has been cast as the villain of the story, a powerful sorcerer named Kulan Gath. Zach McGowan (X-Men, Red Sonja) is set to return as Conan as well, but his screentime will reportedly be limited due to some scheduling issues with the third X-Men film. Filling in the gap as the new male lead in this film will be Rodrigo Santoro (The Lone Gunman, Resident Evil 3) playing a gentleman thief, Kalidor. Lexi Alexander (Red Sonja, Lifted) is returning to direct, once again from a script by Roy Horne (Carpenter, Poison Ivy: Mind Games).
